monday.com Pricing 2026: Plans, Seat Minimums and the Real Cost for a 10-Seat Team
monday.com Basic costs $9 per seat a month billed yearly, Standard $12, Pro $19, 3-seat minimum. The 10-seat cost, AI credits, CRM and dev prices, October 2026.

monday.com work management costs $9 per seat a month on Basic billed yearly, $12 on Standard and $19 on Pro, with Enterprise sold on a quote and a free plan capped at 2 seats, as of 17 October 2026 on monday.com's pricing page. For a 10-seat team billed yearly, Standard, the cheapest plan with a timeline view, costs $1,440 a year. Paid plans start at 3 seats, so the smallest Standard bill is $432 a year.
monday's pricing page can show euros to visitors outside the US; the dollar figures on this page come from the US price data the page carries. The two numbers that decide a monday.com budget are the 3-seat minimum and the automation cap on each tier, not the headline per-seat rate. Both are explained below, with the AI credits each plan bundles and the separate prices for monday CRM, monday dev and monday service.
Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, evaluates 359 project management tools in its October 2026 ranking, and only 3 of its 10 top picks include a free plan. monday.com's free tier exists but stops at 2 seats and 3 boards, so for a team it is a trial, not a plan.
Every monday.com work management plan
| Plan | Per seat, per month (yearly) | Per seat, per month (monthly) | 3 seats, 12 months (yearly) | 10 seats, 12 months (yearly) | AI credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | Free | Free (2 seats max) | Not available | None; AI starts at Basic |
| Basic | $9 | $12 | $324 | $1,080 | 1,000 |
| Standard | $12 | $14 | $432 | $1,440 | 2,000 |
| Pro | $19 | $24 | $684 | $2,280 | 3,000 |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Not published | Not published | Custom |
Each total multiplies the per-seat rate by the seat count and 12 months. monday's FAQ states the yearly discount as 18%, and the monthly rates confirm it on Standard and Pro: a 10-seat Standard team pays $1,680 a year billed monthly against the yearly figure in the table, and Pro $2,880 against $2,280. On Basic the gap is wider, $360 a year on 10 seats.
The pricing page also prints a monthly "special offer" that takes a fixed amount off each plan's total. This page uses list prices only. A promotion is not a rate you can plan a renewal on, and monday does not say when it ends.
What each plan includes
Free gives up to 2 seats, 3 boards, 3 docs, 8 column types, over 200 templates and the iOS and Android apps. There are no AI features and no automations. It is enough to learn the board model, and nothing more.
Basic adds unlimited items, unlimited free viewers with read-only access, and 1,000 AI credits a month with a limited AI agent workforce, the Sidekick assistant and the Vibe app builder. Its feature list has no timeline, no Gantt, no calendar view, no guest access and no automations. Basic is a shared task list with viewers, and most teams that come to monday.com for scheduling will outgrow it on day one.
Standard is where the product most buyers picture begins: timeline and Gantt views, calendar view, guest access, 3 workflows, 250 automation actions and 250 integration actions a month, 1,000 API calls a day and 2,000 AI credits with the meeting notetaker and AI columns. The 250-action cap is the number to watch; a single rule that moves items on status change can use it up on a busy board.
Pro is labelled most popular on the page and lifts the caps to 25,000 automation and 25,000 integration actions a month, 20 workflows and 10,000 API calls a day. It adds private boards and docs, advanced board views for charts, time tracking, advanced columns for dependencies and formulas, and 3,000 AI credits with the AI workflow builder. Teams that run automation at volume or bill time land here.
Enterprise has no public price. It adds 250 workflows, up to 250,000 automation and integration actions a month, portfolio management, resource management, multi-level permissions, enterprise security and governance, 25,000 API calls a day and 24/7 support with a 99.9% uptime SLA.
The seat minimum and the quote line
monday.com's FAQ says plans start from 3 users, and the pricing page's seat selector begins at 3 seats. A freelancer and a client, or a two-person studio, pay for a third seat they will not use: on Standard that is $144 a year of empty seat. The page also says teams above 40 users request a quote, so the list price stops at 40 seats and larger teams negotiate.
Viewers soften the minimum. From Basic upward, read-only viewers are free and unlimited, so a 3-seat Standard account can show boards to a whole department. Guests, who can edit the boards they are invited to, need Standard or above and do not count as seats. A team of 3 editors and 20 readers pays for 3 seats.
How AI credits work
Every paid plan bundles a monthly credit allowance: 1,000 on Basic, 2,000 on Standard, 3,000 on Pro, custom on Enterprise. The pricing page's own guidance is that a typical 3-person team uses 800 to 1,200 credits a month, and that 1,000 credits cover roughly 50 resume screenings, 5 hours of meeting summaries and hundreds of automated workflow updates. A 10-seat Standard team sharing 2,000 credits therefore has less headroom per person than the 3-person example, and the page says more credits can be bought at any time without printing a price per credit on the plan cards.
The plan cards also show how monday values those credits: the 10-seat Standard card lists 2,000 credits at a $20 line that a "special monthly discount" cancels out. Read that as a signal that the bundled credits could become a paid line later. Our guide to AI for project management covers what agents inside a work tool are worth before you budget for extra credits.
monday CRM, monday dev and monday service prices
monday sells four products on the same page, each with its own ladder. The table shows the per-seat monthly rate billed yearly for the three products beyond work management; billed monthly, CRM runs $15, $20 and $33, dev tops out at $25 on Pro, and service costs $34 and $52.
| Product | Basic | Standard | Pro | Top tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| monday CRM | $12 | $17 | $28 | Ultimate, quote |
| monday dev | $9 | $12 | $20 | Enterprise, quote |
| monday service | No Basic tier | $31 | $45 | Enterprise, quote |
The CRM costs more per seat than work management at every tier, by a third on Basic and almost half as much again on Pro, and monday service starts at $31. A team that wants a sales pipeline and project boards buys two products, and the per-seat totals stack: Standard work management plus Standard CRM comes to $29 per seat a month billed yearly. The 14-day free trial of Pro covers work management, CRM and dev, and the page says it needs no card.
monday.com vs Asana vs ClickUp for 10 users
| Tool | Entry tier with a timeline, 10 users a year | Automation cap on that tier | Second tier, 10 users a year | Automation cap on that tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| monday.com | Standard, $1,440 | 250 actions a month | Pro, $2,280 | 25,000 actions a month |
| Asana | Starter, $1,318.80 | Unlimited | Advanced, $2,998.80 | Unlimited |
| ClickUp | Unlimited, $840 (timeline is a trial, Gantt included) | 1,000 executions a month | Business, $1,440 | 5,000 executions a month |
Asana prices were read on its pricing page the same day and ClickUp prices on its pricing page's default lineup on 19 October 2026 (some visitors see a test lineup with Core at $9). monday Standard is the most expensive of the three entry timeline tiers and the only one with a 250-action automation cap, which is the strongest argument against it. monday Pro undercuts Asana Advanced by a wide margin, which is the strongest argument for it, though ClickUp Business costs less still. The full matchups are in Asana vs monday.com and ClickUp pricing, and project management software pricing compared prices seven tools on the same 10-user scenario.
Hidden costs and gotchas
- The 3-seat minimum. Solo users and pairs pay for an empty seat on every paid plan.
- Automation and integration caps. 250 actions a month each on Standard; Pro raises both to 25,000. Automations are absent from Free and Basic.
- No timeline below Standard. Basic looks like the entry price, but a Gantt chart costs $3 more per seat.
- AI credits are shared, not per seat. 2,000 credits on Standard cover the whole account, and the page's usage example is for 3 people.
- Refunds are partial and short. A monthly subscription cancelled within 30 days gets the remaining balance refunded; past the refund period there are no refunds for downgrades.
- Quotes above 40 seats. List pricing ends at 40 users.
- Products stack. CRM, dev and service are separate subscriptions with their own seat prices.

Which monday.com plan should you buy?
Buy Standard if you need a dated plan, guests or any automation at all, and treat the 250-action cap is the thing to test during the trial. Buy Pro when automations run in the thousands, when time tracking or private boards matter, or when the team wants the AI workflow builder; for 10 seats it is cheaper than Asana's second tier by more than $700 a year. Skip Basic unless the team wants a shared list with free viewers and nothing else.
Teams that want a free plan for more than 2 people should look at ClickUp or Trello, both of which fit 10 people on a free tier. The wider field is ranked in our best project management software guide, agencies have their own agency-specific ranking, and teams whose "project" is a sales pipeline should price the CRM side against our best CRM for small business picks before buying monday CRM.
